Because for some odd reason the stupid main character all of a sudden decides to follow in her fathers foot steps.

Yeah I know, it's really a pity that all of the kid's died. (well all the people that he murdered really.) It's sad that most of the kid's were lured in by him saying that he would make them part of there family, like he did with the one girl.
