Tommaso

This is my MAIN TMNT O.C Tommaso or "Tommy" for short.
I redrew him and made him and his brothers look more like the Nickelodeon style, mixed with my style.
Some of his back story has changed to from what it was when I first made him.
He is still 12 years old though.

Tommaso has some major trust issues, and he is constantly trying to work through them. It takes an awefull lot of effort to build up enough trust with him so that he will feel safe/confident enough to even think about dropping his guard with others. Tommaso started out life as an ordinary baby sea turtle, until he was captured by some scientists, whom began to perform genetic experiments on him, causing him to mutate into a humanoid baby turtle. He stayed in the lab being tormented until he was 8 years old, at that time he was rescued by a mutant rat, who he later learned was called Master Splinter. Master Splinter took him in and gave him the name Tommaso, (or Tommy for short) It took several years for Master Splinter, and the others to build up enough trust with Tommy, that he felt comfortable around them, and even started referring to them as family. He like the others were often told stories of their elder brothers who left home some years before. The others were of course awed and amazed by the stories, but little Tommy had conflicting emotions about the much older turtles and often wondered how they could just up and abandon each other, how could they abandon Master Splinter like that. It just didn't make sense to him. Master Splinter was always telling them how important family was, and how they should always try to be there for each other, so why then did the others just up and leave. He harbors some bad feelings towards his older brothers, Leo, Raph, Donny, and Mikey, for quite some time. Because they had all left home several years ago after an incident that happened, and they weren't around when they were needed most, so he is pretty bitter towards them, until much latter in the story. (perhaps latter I will tell you the full story, but I don't feel like doing that right now.  ) And he finds out why they all left, and went there sepret ways. It took him a bit longer to get used to April and Casey because they are humans, but their daughter Shadow eventually got him out of his shell, in a matter of speaking. Now the only humans he trusts are the human boy Master Splinter took in and the Jones'es, he tends to shy away from any others they come in contact with. Though if he see's someone that needs help when he's out on patrol with his siblings he'll jump to their aid.  Tommaso wheres cloths to cover up all the horrendous scars that he has all over his body, every time he see's them they bring back all of his painful memories of his time as a "lab rat". He wears all his protective gear under his cloths. He has shin guards, and arm guards that he wears along with a belt that usually holds some extra weapons, under his cloths.

Master Splinter took in three other Mutated turtles that he found over the years, before he found tommy. They are all older than Tommy, he is the youngest out of all of his older siblings. Splinter also took in a young human boy who was a failed super soldier experiment, and a young mutant cat girl.
